Lanolin Wool is a 4-ply wool yarn that retains the fiber’s natural properties, offering excellent elasticity, warmth and insulation even when damp. Lanolin is added after dyeing to enhance water resistance and self-cleaning qualities.

This makes it ideal for garments like diaper covers, base layers, socks and everyday outdoor wear for both children and adults. It’s also well suited for accessories such as mittens, hats, and scarves, and works beautifully with all knitting techniques, from colorwork to cables and textured patterns.

Lanolin gradually washes out over time. To restore softness and elasticity, use a wool treatment with natural lanolin. The yarn can also be felted.
