2020
Tromsø Hoodie
Sisu’s first pattern was this fluffy balaclava, created in collaboration with MinMote. It has been downloaded 150.000 times and continues to resurface every winter. The key detail: it’s free.
2021
New patterns
The following year, 23 new sweater and accessories patterns were released in the Sisu Store. All rooted in Nordic, Sámi, and Finnish influences, with nature as the constant reference point.
2022
Strikk fra nord
Sisu’s first knitting book launched in 2022, featuring 29 patterns designed for life outdoors. It brings together three cultural influences: Norwegian, Sámi, and Finnish. It's made for both women and men.
2023
Blueberry Sweater
Sisu’s flagship pattern launched in the store and quickly established itself as a fall essential across markets. That same year, Sisu joined Ravelry to make patterns more accessible to a world of knitters.
2024
Barnestrikk fra nord
Sisu’s second knitting book launched in 2024, featuring 26 patterns designed for children. The collection builds on the same core designs as the first book, adapted into smaller sizes.
2025
A slower pace for Sisu
Work (NRK) forced Sisu to slow down. That distance created clarity. We saw the brand more objectively, identified what matters, and uncovered new directions. In hindsight, it was necessary.
2026
Big news ahead
This year, two new apps for knitters are launching. Yarn kits, needles, and accessories are entering the store. The roadmap for 2027–2028 is already defined. Stay tuned and keep knitting.
